2nd Macao Open Backgammon Tournament Went Out With a Bang!
第⼆屆澳⾨國際雙陸棋公開賽於澳⾨氹仔豪華五星級的新濠鋒酒店隆重舉⾏。這場為期四⽇的賽事再度匯聚全球頂尖棋⼿，上演了多場精彩絕倫的巔峰對決。在此祝賀⽇本選⼿ ⽔⾕ 晉 先⽣榮獲第⼆屆澳⾨國際雙陸棋錦標賽冠軍！
The second edition of the Macao Open International Backgammon Tournament was held in the opulent 5-star Altira Hotel & Spa in Taipa, Macao. The four-day event again gathered some of the world’s best backgammonists, culminating in titanic battles all around. Congratulations to Susumu Mizutani from Japan, Champion of the 2nd Macao Open International Backgammon Championship!
本屆賽事由世界雙陸棋聯盟之投票委員及中國代表澳⾨雙陸棋協會主辦，並得到⽇本雙陸棋協會的友好⽀持，在此我們特別感謝前會長 望⽉ 正⾏ 先⽣共同協辦。我們再次向Mochy以及所有前來鼎⼒⽀持的⽇本棋友致以誠摯謝意。
The 2nd Macao Open International Backgammon Tournament was organised by the Macao Backgammon Association, Voting Member & China Representative of the World Backgammon Federation. The Tournament was amicably supported by the Japan Backgammon Society, and in particular by its ex-chairman Mochizuki Masayuki, who also co-organized the Tournament. We extend our special thanks to Mochy again, and to all our fellow backgammonists from Japan who came and lent us their invaluable support.
本屆賽事共吸引來⾃⽇本、中國（含港澳地區）、菲律賓、法國、德國、葡萄牙、英國、美國及加拿⼤等九個國家的約四⼗名選⼿，分別參與⼤師組、中級組與女⼦組的⾓逐。包括冠軍 ⽔⾕ 晉 在內的多位世界頂級棋⼿亦齊聚賽場⾓逐。
The 2nd Macao Open had around 40 participants in the Eruditis (Masters), Laicis (Intermediates) and Domina (Ladies) combined, from 9 different countries: Japan, China (including Hong Kong and Macao), Philippines, France, Germany, Portugal, UK, USA, and Canada. Quite a few of the world’s top players were present in the Tournament, including our Champion Susumu Mizutani.

1st Macao Open Backgammon Tournament
在經過三天激烈的世界級雙陸棋對弈後，第⼀屆澳⾨國際雙陸棋公開賽於2024年2⽉25⽇在澳⾨市中⼼聯合國教科⽂⽂物盧家⼤屋落幕，由德國選⼿ Tobias Hellwag 擊敗了⽇本選⼿齊藤和（Kazuhiro Saito）勇奪冠軍。兩位選⼿皆展現了出⾊的棋藝。特此恭喜Tobias Hellwag 成為第⼀屆澳⾨國際雙陸棋公開賽冠軍！
After three full days of intense world-class backgammon playing amongst some of the best backgammonists in the world, the 1st Macao Open International Backgammon Championship was concluded on the 25th February 2024 at the UNESCO monument Lou Kau Mansion in Macao’s old city centre, with Tobias Hellwag (Germany) defeating Kazuhiro Saito (Japan), in a masterful display from both players. Congratulations to Tobias Hellwag, the Champion of the First Macao Open International Backgammon Championship!
這是澳⾨乃至全中國⾸次舉辦的國際雙陸棋比賽。比賽由澳⾨雙陸棋協會（世界雙陸棋聯盟 World Backgammon Federation 之中國代表及其投票委員之⼀）主辦及監導。第⼀屆澳⾨國際雙陸棋公開賽也得到了⽇本雙陸棋協會的友好⽀持，尤其是其主席望⽉正⾏（Mochy），他也是這次比賽的協辦⽅。望⽉正⾏⼤師為兩屆雙陸棋世界冠軍，亦被公認為現時世上頂頭雙陸棋選⼿。他的悉⼼輔導以及寶貴建議對這次比賽的成功尤關重要。我們特別感謝他和所有來⾃⽇本的朋友們 - 他們給予了這次比賽莫⼤的⽀持及⿎勵。
This is the first ever international backgammon tournament in Macao, and in fact in all of China. The tournament was organised and directed by the Macao Backgammon Association, Voting Member & China Representative of the World Backgammon Federation. The 1st Macao Open International Backgammon Championship was also amicably supported by the Japan Backgammon Society, and in particular by its chairman Mochizuki Masayuki (“Mochy”), who was also the co-organiser of our tournament. Mochy is 2-times backgammon World Champion, and is generally considered to be the best backgammonist in the world. His meticulous involvement and seasoned advice were indispensable to the tournament’s inaugural success. We extend our special thanks to him and to all our friends from Japan who came and lent us their extra support and encouragement.

The 1st China Huyacuan backgammon online tournament
第一屆中國「虎牙攢」雙陸棋線上比賽於2024年11月舉行。此次賽事由澳門雙陸棋協會統籌及主辦，並由世界雙陸棋聯盟（WBGF)、世界雙陸棋線上聯盟（WBIF)、以及雙陸棋線上平台Heroes Backgammon Studio 聯手合作與鼎力支持。此賽事為在中國首次舉辦之雙陸棋線上比賽，共有28名參賽者來自中國不同地區城市，包括香港和澳門。
The 1st China Huyacuan backgammon online tournament took place in November 2024, and was organised by the Macao Backgammon Association, in collaboration with and support of the World Backgammon Federation (WBGF), World Backgammon Internet Federation (WBIF), and Heroes
Backgammon Studio. It was the first ever backgammon online tournament in China, with 28 contestants from China (Mainland), Hong Kong and Macao.

澳門雙陸棋協會以中國代表隊的身分參加了世界雙陸棋線上聯盟 (WBIF) 2023、2024、2025年度舉辦之世界國家隊伍錦標賽。澳門雙陸棋協會正式被WBGF及WBIF任命負責在中國，包括在港澳地區，選拔中國代表隊選手參賽。
The Macao Backgammon Association (MBGA) participated in the WBIF World Team Championships in 2023, 2024 and 2025, as the representative team of China. MBGA was mandated with the selection of Team China’s 5 member players.
歷屆比賽都雲集了幾乎全部世界上雙陸棋最高水平的大師。2023年比賽有40個國家隊伍參賽；2024年有42個國家；至2025年已有48個國家隊伍參賽。中國代表隊在2024年比賽賽績讓人鼓舞，希望在將來的賽事中能爭取到更佳的成就。
The 2023 tournament had teams from 40 countries; in 2024, there were teams from 42 countries; and in 2025 there were 48 national teams, comprising almost all of the best backgammon players from all over the world. The results from the 2024 tournament were quite encouraging, and we look forward to stronger performances in future tournaments.
